Luah was a Human male Lieutenant Colonel in the Imperial Navy who served as Admiral Motti's assistant on the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Steel Talon prior to the Battle of Yavin. Since he was an assistant to the admiral, Luah warned his old friend Nast Hoberd about the forthcoming inspections before his station could prepare his reputation as supreme commander.
