Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.

Lumat was a gray-furred Ewok who helped the Rebellion defeat the Galactic Empire in the Battle of Endor. He was married to Zephee and was the father of Latara, Nippet, and Wiley. In his tribe on the forest moon of Endor, he was the chief woodcutter, an archer, a woodcarver, and an elder advisor to tribe chief Chirpa. Lumat was named for the legendary axe wielded by Machook in Ewok mythology.

Lumat carried a bow and spear, and wore a brown hood and sash-mounted quiver in which he stored arrows.
