Lyr Farseeker was an individual who joined the Jedi Order despite lacking in Force-sensitivity. He would arise to the rank of Jedi Master. He wrote Poetics of a Jedi and numerous other texts that became vital teachings for the Order. The Poetics would become one of the sacred Jedi texts collected by Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and later owned by Rey. In the book, he wrote that the mind of a Jedi could move mountains, but that a Jedi's heart could move souls.
