M-5Q5 was a shopkeeper droid who served the Galactic Republic during the Galactic War against the reconstituted Sith Empire. During the war it was stationed in the Republic's secret prison on the planet Belsavis. In the prison it operated a stall in the Prison Command Center of the Minimum Security Section. The droid had yellow sensors and golden plating.
