M4

M4 was a medical droid based on the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Independence during the Galactic Civil War.

M4 worked in medical bay of the Rebel Alliance MC80 Home One type Star Cruiser Independence early in the Galactic Civil War. A wheeled droid with a pleasant voice designed to put patients at ease, M4 was programmed to perform medical evaluations on the cruiser's personnel.

In 1 BBY, the droid treated Captain Keyan Farlander for recurring dreams. Finding issue with Farlander's attitude, the medical droid summoned its Human counterpart. Unwilling to be removed from active duty, Captain Farlander inadvertently used a Force mind trick to convince the doctor to overrule M4, prescribe him some sedatives, and release him for active duty.
