M8T-V was an astromech droid of the Galactic Republic posted on the Carrick Station during the Cold War. In 3643 BBY it delivered to Republic personnel a hologram message from Satele Shan who asked the Republic heroes to participate in a dangerous Colicoid wargame in order to acquire new weapons for the Republic.
