Maree (Larence Garello)

Maree was a woman who was the mother of Garello Technologies' chief executive, Larence Garello. During the High Republic Era, he named one of the company's starships, Maree's Diligence, after his mother. In the aftermath of the Great Hyperspace Disaster of 232 BBY, Garello opted to evacuate his company's employees from the planet Ab Dalis when the world was threatened by Emergence hyperspace debris. As he watched the organization's convoy of freighters depart, he noticed Maree's Diligence among them, remembering that he had named it after his mother. Maree's Diligence was ultimately destroyed by Nihil marauders as they fled, and Garello perished aboard another freighter not long afterward.
