Mashra

Mashra was an Aqualish who worked as a scavenger on the desert planet Jakku. After the human Rey was abandoned on Jakku in 21 ABY, she initially helped and cooperated with Mashra and the scavenger Ivano Troade, who were kind and sympathetic to her. However, Rey eventually realized that she did not need aid from anyone, despite some needing help from her, and began working independently.

By 34 ABY, Rey mentioned Mashra in a survival guide she compiled, quoting the Aqualish as having said that nobody would pay a scavenger who was dead and noting that she missed her. Rey also included an uncolored sketch of Mashra that showed her with black eyes, dark hair, and a set of robes.
