Mathey

Mathey was a male human enslaver who served Allehander Pso. He sold Pso's indentured service to the Galactic Empire, working on an Amarills-class freighter under the command of an individual known as Captain. When Jyn Erso was hired to forge several of the indentured service records, Mathey got her started on the job and mocked Erso for showing some hesitancy. After a week's travel from Five Points Space station to Rumitaka, Erso decided to rescue the slaves, first attacking Mathey and the crew with a stun prod and locking them in the airlock chamber. Mathey was killed when the freed slaves ejected the airlock into space.

Mathey was a gruff man with a red beard. He had no qualms about being a slave dealer and felt no shame about their mistreatment.
