Merritt Rineld was a male Count of Dubrillion who was active during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire. He opposed the ruling king of Dubrillion, Actavarus III, and sought to reinstall the Drayen dynasty to the throne by marrying Risha Drayen.
Some time before the sacking of Dubrillion, he was assassinated by the King.
