Minakatso was a Force-sensitive member of the Brotherhood of the Ninth Door. He searched for an ancient scroll. While searching for the artifact in the Brotherhood of the Ninth Door temple on Jedha, the Brotherhood of the Ninth Door temple on Cerosha and the Tomb of Sarasti Thel, Minakatso encountered the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn. Jinn tried to stop Minakatso from obtaining the scroll, fearing that he would misuse it, but eventually he realized that the Brother of the Ninth Door was only searching for the scroll to destroy it.
