Naja was a soldier who served in the Republic Army during the Great Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Naja was later recruited into a black ops program run by the Army's Republic Special Forces Division, becoming a member of the assassination squad known as the Surgeons. However, the squad was eventually convicted of war crimes and imprisoned on the planet Berrun after it started hunting the families of enemy targets.
