Nara (tooka)

Nara was the name given by the Jedi Imri Cantaros to a tooka cat that lived in the Blue Tooka tavern in the town Parantha on the Outer Rim planet Aricho during the High Republic Era. Cantaros named her after visiting the Blue Tooka for the first time. In his later trips to the tavern, Nara greeted him each time, and he always fed her with a snack after being pestered by the tooka.

In 228 BBY, when Cantaros and Jedi Knight Yacek Sparkburn arrived at the Blue Tooka to speak with President Orenna Sala, Nara attempted to jump into nalidara soup on a table but was stopped by Cantaros. The Jedi then gave her a piece of bread, which she ran off with. Later, Aricho's population was evacuated to the Outer Rim planet Tiikae after the discovery of the blight infliction.
