Nareen Cale

Nareen Cale was an Ithorian Jedi Master who served the Jedi Order at the time of the Jedi-Sith War. Cale altered war reports following the war's conclusion to indicate that the planet Auratera was a "total loss" and would be environmentally dangerous for centuries. Cale did this to protect the planet and its vergence in the Force from dark side adherents and a possible Sith resurgence, as the conflict between Jedi and Sith had rendered the planet a war-torn wreck with less than 100,000 inhabitants.

Cale's efforts, as well as secret reclassifications of the Auratera system as uninhabitable, led to the planet remaining unvisited by anyone other than some Jedi researchers into the era of the Galactic Empire.
