Around 21 BBY, while on duty at a landing bay on Tilnes, Khash identified the presence of a viral contaminant with in the bay's ventilation system and detected a distress signal originating from a purportedly abandoned facility between the surface of Tilnes. Terrified by the situation he found himself in, Khash placed the landing bay under quarantine and engaged a team of freelance agents to investigate the distress signal and source of the virus.
