A male was a member of House Organa, a noble house of the planet Alderaan, and served as lord of their house sometime well before the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. The lord had at least three younger brothers, and when their third brother's son Nomar exhibited Force-sensitivity at a young age, the lord gave their nephew to the Jedi Order as a gift.
