Numa's father

A male individual came to be the parent of the Twi'lek Numa, who was born four years prior to the Clone Wars. They, along with Numa and her mother, lived within a home in Nabat, a small city on the Twi'lek homeworld Ryloth. In 22 BBY, during the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems invaded Ryloth and attacked Nabat.

In the ensuing chaos, Numa's father was rounded up by the Confederacy along with many of the other inhabitants of Nabat, including Numa's mother and uncle. They were used as living shields against the Galactic Republic, who were attempting to reclaim the planet from the Separatists. However, Numa's father was eventually killed along with her mother by the Separatists before Nabat's liberation in 21 BBY. Many years later, following the rise of the Galactic Empire, Numa reflected on her family's use as living shields during their subjugation by the Separatists.
