The Ootana family was a family of Hutts that was part of the Hu'un kajidic. Its members led safaris into the Old Duros Sector, a dangerous area of Nar Shaddaa that was overrun by deadly creatures. The family made sure that the kajidic had no responsibility for injuries or deaths that occurred during safaris.
