A Force-sensitive being, Oshi-Jid attained the rank of Jedi Master in the Jedi Order. In 22 BBY, the Clone Wars broke out between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems and Oshi-Jid took the Duros Teo Gronn as a Padawan after Gronn's former master had been killed during the first battle of the war on the planet Geonosis.
A few weeks into the war, Oshi-Jid was part of the Republic forces sent to capture the planet Muunilinst, home of the InterGalactic Banking Clan. Oshi-Jid was presumed to be killed in combat over Muunilinst, leaving Gronn once again without a master.
