Peden was a sergeant of the reconstituted Sith Empire living during the Galactic War. Stationed at the Jagged Plains Imperial Garrison on the planet Hoth, he led Grek team on a priority assault mission against the Republic forces, which ended in failure after the entire platoon, including Peden, was massacred by Republic spy droids. Back at the garrison astromech droid G0-S5 alerted an Imperial to Peden's disappearance, urging them to complete the mission.
