Phrojo Nuray was a Rodian male hired gun who was considered infamous throughout the galaxy by the time of the Third Galactic War. Having earned more than enough credits to retire, he continued his mercenary work purely for the sport of it, and decided to offer his services to whoever won his contract in a jackpot at a slot machine in one of Nar Shaddaa's famed casinos. When the Alliance Commander won his contract, he joined the Eternal Alliance.
