"Pontriss" was the name the Chiss syndic Mitth'ras'safis, core name "Thrass," gave to a male individual who attempted to rob a bistro on the Chiss Ascendancy planet Naporar by 19 BBY. Pontriss' friend, Jaraki, feigned a heart attack to distract the bistro's employees, allowing Pontriss to attempt to steal from the bistro. However, Syndic Thrass and Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet officer Mitth'raw'nuruodo were also in the bistro, and together were able to prevent the crime.
