Purong was a pale-skinned Ganimed bounty hunter present at Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina in the city of Mos Eisley on the planet of Tatooine before 0 BBY. During one visit to the cantina, Purong engaged in a shootout with the Ariwook Rff Huff. The Ganimed wore brown shorts, a vest with a bandolier, a band around the left wrist, and brown boots. Purong also carried two blasters in holsters around the hip.
