Q'elliss was a Trandoshan who worked as a laborer and lived in the Gnawer's Roost district of Coruscant. He was visiting the Invisible Hand cantina along with his friend, Ziss't, when it became the site of a firefight between the Imperial Security Bureau agent Tavik Moern and some Quarrens against the Alderaanian Resistance. He and his friend ducked and attempted to flee the cantina at the first opportunity available.
