R2-H7 was a green-and-white R2-series astromech droid in the Royal Naboo Security Forces who traveled to the planet Coruscant in 22 BBY in the astromech socket of an N-1 starfighter piloted by Captain Gregar Typho. The pair was part of an escort for Senator Padmé Amidala, whose J-type diplomatic barge was destroyed in an explosion when they reached Coruscant. Amidala survived, but R2-H7 was damaged by flaming debris from the blast.
