Regga was an Ithorian podracer who competed in a race on Tatooine around 32 BBY. Racing through Beggar's Canyon, he stayed too high and brushed the cliffs, dying instantly. After his death, pit droids searched for the parts from his podracer for a month. Prior to the Boonta Eve Classic, Toydarian shopkeeper Watto commanded Anakin Skywalker to visit the Jawas at Mochat Steep to acquire parts from Regga's podracer, specifically the thrusters. Skywalker repaired the Jawas' vaporator for their sandcrawler and left with the parts, which he added to his own podracer.
