Ren's friend
Canon Linked from 1 article
The human known as Ren and the Knights of Ren warriors he led had a friend who learned that the human criminal Karrst was Force-sensitive. The friend informed the Knights of Ren about Karrst's abilities, including his penchant for the dark side of the Force. Sometime long before 28 ABY, Ren tracked Karrst and his brother Filin to an icy astronomical object in the hopes of recruiting Karrst for the Knights of Ren. Ren relayed what their friend had told them about his talents, which Karrst confirmed to be true. However, Karrst was soon killed by Filin before he could join the group.
