Rothgar Deng, possibly operating under an alias, was a Corellian bounty hunter. In an attempt to live and work forever, Deng subjected himself to cybernetic replacements, and turned to black market surgical clinics to replace damaged body parts. By the time of the war between the First Order and the Resistance, Deng was old and experienced, holding a reputation for being one of the greatest bounty hunters in the galaxy. According to a rumor, Deng was the bounty hunter Dengar, who had a similar name, and, like Rothgar, had cybernetic surgeries. At one point, Rey listed Deng as a bounty hunter that she claimed attempted to capture Moebin Faltus. However, when repeating the list, Kief Varris replaced Rothgar Deng's name with Dengar's. Deng was present on the planet Kijimi shortly before it was destroyed by the Sith Eternal, but it was not known if he survived.
