Rysko Barnt was a frequent patron of the Cantina Oceana on the moon of Dorumaa. He was hired by Thon Larimhor to pretend to be Kalani's ex-boyfriend. When he beat her in the presence of Echari Di'San, Di'San attacked and injured him. Witnesses at the cantina believed that Di'San had murdered Barnt and an investigation was launched by the Cularin Office of Public Safety. It was later discovered that Barnt was actually murdered by Larimhor.
