Salaban was an Arkanian featured in the Song of Salaban, an Arkanian legend. According to the legend, they lost everything after making the wrong choices. In 0 ABY, alien warlord Nuso Esva compared Salaban's story to that of the Human pilot Sorro, who served the warlord after losing his family. The pair made use of a Kazellis-class light freighter named Salaban's Hope.
