Saml Previl was a man that held the rank of Prime Abseiler of Alsakan in the Kingdom of Archais many years before the Battle of Yavin. The ancient man supposedly rode the Tessent of Alsakan into battle against the dukes of the Ten Valleys. Following his defeat of the dukes, Previl and his descendants united the tribes of Alsakan.
