Sefin Garoby was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic whose transport shuttle crashed on the Outer Rim moon Toshara during the Clone Wars, in which the Galactic Republic fought against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The shuttle crash resulted in the deaths of all clone troopers aboard, leaving just Garoby and their protocol droid as survivors. The pair later met the local Tosharans, who repaired the crashed shuttle, allowing Garoby to return to the war.
