Seig Darklighter was a Jedi, commonly believed to have led the Jedi Rebellion, though the real Jedi commander was Luke Skywalker.

In the second draft, a man named Darklighter, a Padawan, discovers the Bogan and teaches it to a group of pirates named the Sith, forming the Black Knights of the Sith.
