Seoln Kaytee

Seoln Kaytee was a commander for the Galactic Republic who constructed much of the state's gunnery doctrine. Her approach was based on sentient recognition rather than droid control of calculations, emphasizing teams of gunners who could coordinate both leading shots and timed barrages so that they stripped away segments of enemy shields. Her doctrine was also adopted by the Galactic Empire when it designed its first new generation of warships. In 35 ABY, the historian Beaumont Kin mentioned Kaytee in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire.
