ST-297

ST-297 was an Imperial stormtrooper who held the rank of Lieutenant and was part of the ambush squad for Leia Organa Solo and Han Solo during their quest to retrieve moss painting Killik Twilight on the planet Tatooine.

ST-297 offered his electrobinoculars to Leia, who was in disguise as a stormtrooper, after he noticed that she dropped hers accidentally. When she mistakenly addressed him as a captain, ST-297 became suspicious and asked her their service numbers but was quickly placated by Han. Later on the pair would learn that the electrobinoculars that ST-297 lent them contained an eavesdropping bug that blew their cover.
