Stregand was a male Bith who lived during the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, he represented a corporate lab specialized in biotechnologies. In 1 ABY, Stregand went to Coronet City after he learnt the existence of an illegal lab on the planet Corellia, a lab specialized in bio-engineering creatures through dangerous genetic experiments. Stregand hired a spacer to steal some samples of blood from the engineered creatures in order to copy the process for his own corporation.
