Talon Slyter was a native of the planet Draethos and a noted practitioner of the martial art Teräs Käsi, during the years leading up to the First Battle of Geonosis. During a match held on 13:5:9 in Äslajä, Bunduki, Slyter had a surprisingly good finish for an off-worlder, with a score of 36-19. However, this exceptional showing was not good enough to top the first and second-place finishers, Phow Ji and Joclad Danva.
