Lieutenant Tanbris was a human officer of the Galactic Empire. During the Battle of Yavin, the lieutenant was an aide on board the Death Star battle station and provided a report on enemy numbers to the Sith Lord Darth Vader when the Alliance to Restore the Republic attacked the station. Although Vader ordered Tanbris to have the station's fighter crews prepare to launch, the Death Star was destroyed soon after.
