Thariki was a female senator representing the planet Sarkhai in the Galactic Senate. She was appointed by the Sarkhai royal family several years before 3628 BBY, to replace Nadia Grell in that position after Nadia realised she was unable to both be an effective senator and fight the war against Zakuul at the same time. Nadia expressed confidence in Thariki and hoped to catch up with her after Nadia defended the colony established on the planet Ossus from the invading reconstituted Sith Empire.
