TK-331 was a stormtrooper stationed on the First Death Star during its construction. He died in 2 BBY while performing his duties in the "laser corridors", due to carelessness he stepped into the beam and was disintegrated. His fellow stormtroopers commented on this event just as Darth Vader's former apprentice, Galen Marek, entered the very laser shaft he had perished in while attempting to rescue the rebellious senators as well as his newfound mentor.
