Tobias Beckett

Tobias Beckett was a human male professional thief and gunslinger native to Glee Anselm who worked for the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate during the early reign of the Galactic Empire. Beckett organized a crew to take part in his heists and other jobs, including his lover, Val, and Rio Durant. On one job for the syndicate, he killed the prominent bounty hunter Aurra Sing.

On a failed job to steal Imperial coaxium on behalf of Crimson Dawn, Beckett recruited Han Solo and Chewbacca to his gang, though Val and Durant were killed. With the help of Solo, who Beckett took into his mentorship, Beckett pivoted to instead steal the needed coaxium from Kessel, a plan that succeeded. However, when Solo decided to betray Crimson Dawn and give the hypermatter to the Cloud-Riders, Beckett in turn betrayed Solo. This resulted in a standoff between the two, in which Solo fatally shot his mentor.
