Tobie was a female member of a species. During the Galactic Civil War, she and her mother resided on Banas. They hid from Imperial troops in the store Lost and Found, where Leia Organa bought Tobie a doll. Later she was aboard the refugee vessel Dorlanna, which she had to evacuate and lost the doll, but it was recovered by rebel engineer Evans Basch.
