Tregar was an Imperial Moff who controlled Merel sector during the Galactic Civil War. He was known as an extremely competent man, and was considered to be too influential to be promoted to the rank of Grand Moff. Tregar developed a good working relationship with the Ragnar Syndicate, a group of bounty hunters. Tregar often employed the Ragnar Syndicate to take out suspected cells of Rebel Alliance supporters in his sector.
