Tura Sanga was a Force-sensitive member of the Lost Tribe of Sith on the planet Kesh. Sanga was a famous maker of shikkars—glass weapons utilized by members of the Sith Tribe. By 44 ABY, one of Sanga's shikkars had come to be in the personal collection of the Sith Saber Gavar Khai. In that year, Khai passed the weapon on to his daughter, Vestara.
