Umé was a Human female from the Mid Rim planet of Naboo who served as one of Padmé Amidala's handmaidens. In 19 BBY, shortly after the end of the Clone Wars, she was part of the senator and former monarch's funeral procession, walking behind Queen Apailana with another handmaiden. The ceremony was held in the capital city of Theed.
