An eccentric admiral had, by 3637 BBY, hinted that he wished to acquire a gold-plated astromech droid owned by Garblaque the Hutt.
In that year, an individual associated with one of the sides in the ongoing Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire became aware that the admiral had indicated that he desired to have the droid. They had a companion of theirs retrieve it for him.
