A male Human member of House Alde, a noble house of the planet Alderaan, held the title of earl sometime before the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Considered to be undistinguished by other nobles, the earl was arranged to be married to Gesselle of House Organa on Gesselle's eighteenth birthday, but the wedding was postponed and ultimately cancelled for reasons unknown to the general public.
