Unidentified B1 battle droid 2 (R2-D2)

A B1-series battle droid was captured and reprogrammed by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. It was a member of a group of three droids placed under the command of the astromech droid R2-D2 during a mission to the Outer Rim planet Lola Sayu. The droid and their comrades piloted the Sheathipede-class transport shuttle that carried a Republic strike team, whose members were carbon-frozen, onto the planet to rescue Jedi Master Even Piell from the Citadel prison. After the strike team infiltrated the prison, R2 had his droids landed the shuttle at the prison's landing pad on orders from Anakin Skywalker. R2 and the droids disembarked from the shuttle and were met by the tactical droid K2-B4, who suspected that the shuttle was commandeered. The battle droid followed their superior OOM-10, as the droids pretended that the astromech droid was their prisoner. After the droids intercepted the captured half of the strike team, the droids posed as guards escorting their "prisoners" to the shuttle. However, they were ambushed and the shuttle was destroyed alongside Advanced Recon Commando Echo's presumed death. The droid subsequently joined the rest of the team as they fled the landing pad. The droid later sacrificed themselve to delay the pursuing Separatist forces. Another droid told R2 that it had been an honor to serve under him, before the droids charged a LM-432 crab droid and several BX-series droid commandos and were destroyed.
