A Cathar male settler was in the Olaris Spaceport in the city of Olaris on Taris in the year 3643 BBY. He spoke to a human quartermaster of the Galactic Republic. The quartermaster remarked on the settler's height, which the settler acknowledged, before asking him if he was there for the Cathar settlements. The settler replied in the affirmative, and the human offered him a blaster before asking if he'd ever fired one. The Cathar settler said he had, "Many times," and the quartermaster welcomed him to Taris.
