Unidentified Colicoid engineer

A Colicoid engineer was responsible for designing the protodeka, a giant, crablike siege weapon, on the planet Raxus Prime, which was manufactured by Geonosians and used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Dark Reaper crisis. He was then cloistered by his brethren in the Fortress of Axion, a Colicoid Creation Nest fortress on the planet Axion that served as Separatist research and development center during the Clone Wars, making him a tempting target for a Galactic Republic extradition mission. In the year 22 BBY, the Grand Army of the Republic dispatched several companies of clone troopers under Commander Brolis to Axion to extract the engineer. While the small force was able to penetrate the fortress through a hole within the foundation within two days of making planetfall. However, the Colicoids were able to contact the Separatist Droid Army in the intervening time, who flushed the clones from the fortress and secured a Separatist victory, the only Republic survivors of the battle being Brolis and Jedi Master Yoda, Grand Master of the Jedi Order.
